Watching inspirational screenwriter Scott Lu wrote a movie, without having to type or speak

Is very difficult to write a movie. Imagine, no ability to speak or write it from a wheelchair. This is the incredible truth Scott Lu for his new movie, sexy evil genius. In 2004, Lu was diagnosed suffering from Lou Gehrig's disease, the writer mute pentaplegic has left. (He can not move his limbs, neck or head), he was forced to use the ventilator breathing and communication with the help of an assistant, as well as infrared dot on his forehead.

I asked the director Sean Pile Lu movie is what it looks like, and here his elegant response:

    Scott is an inspiration, and a wonderful collaborator. He made a lot of my writer friends note how fast the speed he turned around a disgrace. In the movie, any action or explosion, the number of each row. Scott is not only open every joke spacing and visual ideas, he opened the movie, five people sitting around a table, but he stuck to his guns and stood up for me, director, firmly as any writer, I've had the pleasure of working. I believe that I like this movie is not a small task. I tirelessly to goose movies, and pop-up in the like his screenplay pop-up page on the screen.

    Work with Scott, the script is not only a professional welcome, but a very personal experience for me, because it was me and my father and writing partner fighting throat cancer, Michael Piller, in the past three years his life. I mainly by e-mail to communicate with him, because he lost his voice, like Scott, but not a great story of his mind near the end (for three performances). So this for me is very familiar with the conversation. Sometimes treatment, sometimes frustrating, sometimes heartbreaking, but always a learning experience.

    I will write 10 notes. Scott respondents pointed out that he did not agree (just through the implementation of these notes in the future because it will be a waste of his valuable time, rather than agree with me), and write back, cut and paste my notes, and his reaction, he do not agree or have an idea I think. Sometimes he would praise me as "a brilliant idea" is so generous to accept it. At other times, we will taste Duke silly lines or debate or tone or character. But it is always in the service of the story and characters, like my father, and I cherish every second, and the script is always better results.

Lew's story is incredible, it definitely adds a crazy girlfriend who invited her ex-boyfriend of a column at the same time, his movie is a whole other layer.
